THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Nathan Kithaka Newton (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.50 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kagaari/Kigaa/4265, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Runyenjes in Succession Cause No. 33 of 2022, has issued letters of administration to Kithaka Maureen Wanja, and whereas the said Kithaka Maureen Wanja has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Kithaka Maureen Wanja, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Nathan Kithaka Newton (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
