PROPOSED ACQUISITION

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 46 (6) of the Competition Act, we wish to notify you that the Authority has approved the implementation of the proposed merger on condition that Access Bank (Kenya) Plc shall ensure that for a period of one (1) year following the completion of the proposed transaction, at least 80% of the current workforce of National Bank Kenya Limited and 100% employees of Access Bank (Kenya) Plc equivalent to one thousand, four hundred and twenty-three (1,423) are retained.
