THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Thamuda Hassan alias Thamuda Omar Hassan and (2) Fauzia Ismail alias Mrs. Juma, both of P.O. Box 89478-80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors in freehold interest of all that piece of land known as Subdivision No. 16 Section III Mainland North, situate in the Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa District, registered as C. R. 5591, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the deed file in respect of this land title has been destroyed/misplaced, and whereas the registered owners have executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, unless a written objection is receive'd' within that period, I shall proceed with the registration of the said deed of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file under the provisions of section 33 (5) of the Act.
