THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No.3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Salmon Opiyo Ojuka (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as West KasipullKonuonga/91 6, containing 12.0 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Rachuonyo, and whereas land certificate issued on 25th August, 1998 got lost and the matter reported at Kosele Police Station, and whereas transmission documents vide succession No. 118 of 2014 at the High of Kenya at Homa Bay are ready for registration, and whereas efforts to trace the said land certificate have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 to read Eliakim Ouko Opiyo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Salmon Opiyo Ojuka (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
