PURSUANT to powers granted to the Water Services Regulatory Board section 68 and in order to— (a) safeguard the progressive realization of the right to water to the consumers in Bungoma County and Trans Nzoia County; improve the financial management of water service provider; improve the sustainability of the water service providei (ci) ensure loans attaching to the infrastructure are paid; The Water Services Regulatory Board notifies that Nw's WSP shall be under a special regulatory regime for six (6) months. During this time, the special regulatory measures shall include- all Board Committee, Board Meeting or ad hoc Board Meeting shall be attended by WASREB; the WSP shall submit a weekly income and expenditure report to WAS REB; the WSP shall submit bank reconciliation certificates to WASREB on monthly basis.
