PROPOSED ACQUISITION

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 46(6) of the Competition Act, 2010, it is notified for general information of the public that the Competition Authority of Kenya has approved the proposed acquisition of additional 3% shareholding in AMS Properties Limited by Mrs. Pravina Samani, resulting in 52% shareholding and control due to the following reasons— (a) the transaction will not affect competition negatively; and (b) the transaction is unlikely to lead to any negative public interest issues.
