PURSUANT to the provisions of section 46 (6) of the Competition Act, 2010, it is notified for general information of the public that the Competition Authority of Kenya has approved the proposed acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Sadolin Paints (E.A) Limited by Kansai Plascon East Africa Limited due to the following reasons— the transaction will not affect competition negatively; and the transaction is unlikely to lead to any negative public interest issues.
