THE MICROFINANCE ACT

(No. 19 of 2006)

REGULATION

PURSUANT to section 7 of the Microfinance Act, 2006, and regulation 9 of the Microfinance (Categorization of Deposit-Taking Microfinance Instutions) Regulations, 2008, it is notified for information of the general public that the Central Bank of Kenya has approved the application by U & I Microfinance Bank Limited to convert from a community microfinance bank to a nationwide microfinance bank, with effect from the 25th March, 2017.
