NOTICE is given pursuant to Article 178 (2) (b) of the Constitution, the Deputy Speaker of the County Assembly shall be elected pursuant to Standing Order 14 of the Kisii County Assembly Standing Orders. Any person who is eligible for election as Deputy Speaker of the County Assembly, and is interested in contesting for this position is advised to collect nomination papers from the office of the Clerk of the County Assembly between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. commencing on Wednesday, 13th September, 2017 and ending on 22nd September, 2017. Completed nomination papers, together with detailed curriculum vitae of each candidate and the relevant supporting documents, should be returned to the office of the Clerk of the County Assembly at least forty-eight (48) hours before the County Assembly assembles for the purpose of electing the Deputy Speaker.
