GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 9237

PURSUANT to the provisions of sections 8, 9 and 47 of the County Assembly Service Act, and First Schedule thereto, it is notified for the general information of the public that the Secretary to the County Assembly of Kitui Service Board invites applications from interested and qualified persons for the position of two (2) members of the Board, a man and a woman. To be appointed as a member of the Board, an applicant must— (a) be a citizen of Kenya; (b) hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya; (c) have at least ten (10) years’ experience in public affairs; and (d) meet the requirements of leadership and integrity as set out in Chapter 6 of the Constitution. Applicants are requested to note that— (a) a member of the Board shall serve on part-time basis; (b) all benefits/allowances to the position are as determined/advised by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission from time to time. All applications must be accompanied with the following documents— (a) detailed curriculum vitae; (b) copy of ID/valid Passport; (c) copies of academic certificates and other testimonials; (d) KRA clearance certificate; (e) HELB compliance certificate; (f) CRB clearance; (g) Certificate of Good Conduct; and (h) Clearance Certificate by EACC.
