THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Zelipha Warukira Mwai (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land situate in the district of Laikipia, registered as Marmanet North/Rumuruti Block 2/3104/(Ndururumo), and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nyeri in succession cause No. 727 of 2014 has issued a grant of letters of administration and certificate of a grant in favour of Lydiah Wanjugu Mwai, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of Zelipha Warukira Mwai (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, and whereas all efforts made to trace the lost title deed have failed, notice is given that after thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of R. L. 19 in the name of Lydiah. Wanjugu Mwai, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Zelipha Warukira Mwai (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
