IT IS notified for general information that, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No. 25 of the Kakamega County Assembly Standing Orders, and by a resolution made on the 14th February, 2019, the County Assembly approved the Calendar of the Assembly (Regular Sessions) for 2019 as set out in the Schedule: Period . Days Third Session 12th February — 5th December, 2019 FIRST PART A. Sitting Days Tuesday, 12th February — Thursday, 4th April, 2019 Tuesday (Afternoon), Wednesdays (Morning and Afternoon) and Thursdays (Afternoon) B. Short Recess Friday, 5th April — Monday, 22nd April, 2019 SECOND PART C. Sitting Days • Tuesday, 23rd April — Tuesday (Afternoon), Wednesdays (Morning and Afternoon) and Thursdays (Afternoon) Thursday, 30th May, 2019 D. This will give members time to attend the Annual Legislative Summit scheduled to take place from 15th — 18th April, 2019. 2. Short Recess—Friday the 31st May—Monday, 17th June, 2019 (12 days). To allow committees concentrate on the budget making process. 3. Long Recess—Friday, 9th August—Monday, 2nd September, 2019 (22 days). This will give members adequate time to prepare for CASA games. 4. Short Recess—Friday 25th—Monday 4th November, 2019. To allow Committees concentrate on committee work and clear any pending business before the long recess. 5. Long Recess—Friday, 6th December—Monday, 10th February, 2020 (9 weeks).
