INQUIRY ORDER

WHEREAS the Commissioner for Co-operatives vide an Inquiry Order dated 10th April, 2019 appointed (1) Priscilla Maranga (Ms.), Assistant Commissioner for Co-operative Development and (2) Hilda Koech Chepkwony (Ms.), County Director of Co-operative Audit to carry out an Inquiry into— (i) by-laws; (ii) working and financial conditions; and (iii) the conduct of the management committee past and present of Good Hope Sacco Society Limited (CS 2749) in accordance with sections 58 and 73 of the Co-operative Societies Act for a period of twenty (20) days with effect from the date of the order and Whereas, the said (1) Priscilla Maranga (Ms.) and (2) Hilda Koech Chepkwony (Ms.) have not been able to complete the Inquiry exercise. I now extend the Inquiry period for the said officers (1) Priscilla Maranga (Ms.) and (2) Hilda Koech Chepkwony (Ms.) for another period not exceeding fifteen (15) days at such place and time as may be expedient and duly notified by them. The attention of the officers and members of the Society is directed to the following sections of the Co-operative Societies Act.
