THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Phares Mwangi Maranga (Deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.029500 hectare or thereabouts, known as Nairobi/Block 32/697, situate in the district of Nairobi, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in succession cause No. 2876 of 2013, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (I) Lucy Waithera Mwangi and (2) Agnes Njeri Mwangi, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission RL. 19 in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in favour of (1) Lucy Waithera Mwangi and (2) Agnes Njeri Mwangi and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Phares Mwangi Maranga (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
