THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS M’Rulia M’Ithinyai alias M’Rurua M’Ithinyai alias Zakariah Ruria (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Nyaki/Thuura/1301, situate in the district of Meru, and whereas the High Court at in succession cause No. 677 of 2012, has issued a grant of letters of administration in favour of (1) Julius Kithinji M’Rulia and (2) Daniel Ngatu, and whereas the Court has in pursuance executed the grant and confirmation of grant in favour of the above named beneficiaries, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier in respect of the said piece of land by the land registrar is lost/missing, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the said application to be registered as proprietors by transmission R.L. 19 in the names of (1) Julius Kithinji M’Rulia and (2) Daniel Ngatu, and upon such registration the land certificate issued earlier to the said M’Rulia M’Ithinyai alias M’Rurua M’Ithinyai alias Zakariah Ruria, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
