PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the provisions of Standing Order 29 (3) of the Standing Orders of the National Assembly, it is notified for the information of the Members of the National Assembly and the general public that a special sitting of the Assembly shall be held in the National Assembly Chamber in the Main Parliament Buildings, Nairobi on Monday, 10th February, 2020 commencing at 2.30 p.m. for purposes of — (a) Notification of the message from H. E. the President regarding persons nominated for appointment as Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries. (b) Transacting the following business — (i) consideration of a motion regarding the Presidential Proclamation of 4th February, 2020 following the demise of the Second President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, C.G.H.; and (ii) consideration of a motion for the alteration of calendar of the House in view of the Presidential Proclamation, pursuant to Standing Order 28 (4).
