Pursuant to Regulation 21 of the Environmental Managenient..and Co-ordination (Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations, 203, the National OnViroement Management Authority (NEMA) has received an Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report for the above ProPosedmoject. The proponent, Behan Desalination Company Limited, is proposing to establish a new Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (switt) desalination plant with capacity to produce potable quality water at a rate of 100million litres per day (MLD) and the expected annual average availability of 95%.
