THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Lilian Jepkosgei Mutai (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.32 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kitale Municipality Block 15/Koitogos/1497, situate in the district of Trans Nzoia East, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitale in succession cause No. 295 of 2014, has issued grant of letters of administration to (1) Wilson Barmao Mutai and (2) James Kigen Rotich, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Lilian Jepkosgei Mutai (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R. L. 19 and R. L. 7, and issue a land title deed to the said (1) Wilson Barmao Mutai (ID/4735488) and (2) James Kigen Rotich (ID/13145003), and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said Lilian Jepkosgei Mutai (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
