THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Marete M’Mbui (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.185 hectare or thereabouts, known as Ithima/Ntunene/1732, situate in the district of Meru North, and whereas the Chief Magistrates Court at Maua in succession cause No. 33 of 2019, has issued grant of letters of administration to Habiba Mkuluma (ID/7746484), and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Marete M’Mbui (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R. L. 19 and R. I. 7, and issue a land title deed to the said Habiba Mkuluma (ID/7746484), and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said Marete M’Mbui (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
