NOTICE is given under section 3 and 4 of the Transfer of Businesses Act (Cap. 500) that the business and assets of Amana Petroleum (Kenya) Limited (the Transferor), a limited liability company carrying out the business of operating a petrol service station on the properties known as Title Number Mgumopatsa/Mazeras/1408 and Title Number Eldoret Municipality Block 20 (Kapyemit)/2561 will be transferred (subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent) to Ola Energy Kenya Limited (the Transferee) which will carry on the business of running a petrol service station under the name “OLA Energy” on the same premises. The address of the Transferor is P.O. Box 104080–00101 Nairobi, Kenya. The address of the Transferee is P.O Box 64900–00620 Nairobi, Kenya with a copy to Anjarwalla & Khanna LLP, ALN House, Eldama Ravine Close, Off Eldama Ravine Road, Westlands, P.O. Box 200–00606 Sarit Centre, Nairobi. All claims for money, debts or liabilities due and owing by the Transferor in respect of the business up to the date of transfer shall be received and paid by the Transferor. The Transferee shall not be deemed to assume any of the debts or liabilities incurred by, or on behalf of the Transferor in connection with, or relating to the business. Dated the 30th July, 2020.
