PURSUANT to Article 163 (1) (a) of the Constitution of Kenya and section 6 of the Supreme Court Act, 2011 and Rules 4 (d), 5 and 7 of the Supreme Court Rules, 2020, the Chief Justice gives notice as follows: The August Recess of the Supreme Court shall commence on 1st August, 2020 and terminate on 15th September, 2020, both days inclusive. The duty Judge will be available to attend to urgent matters. During this period, the Supreme Court registry shall be open to the public from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all week days other than public holidays. Dated the 21st July, 2020. D. K.
