THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

(No. 13 of 2019)

PURSUANT to section 47 of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that the County Government of Taita Taveta intends to commence preparation of the above plan for Kambanga Ranch. The purpose of the plan is to provide a spatial framework for co- ordinated development within the ranch. The objectives of the land use plan are to provide an overall physical and land use framework for sustainable development of the ranch, provide a framework for reducing human-wildlife conflict, provide a basis for provision of infrastructure and services, guide the use and management of natural resources; enhance protection of the environment and natural resources; and provide a basis for preparation of a management plan for the ranch. Comments on the proposed plan may he directed to County Executive Member for Lands, Physical Planning Mining and Energy, P.O. Box 1066–80304, or via email: lands@taitaveta.go.ke within a period of twenty-one (21) days of this notice. Dated the 25th January, 2022.
