GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 4551

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 49 (1) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that preparation of the above development plan was completed on the 10th March, 2022. The development plan relates to land situated within Lamu County and specifically Lamu Municipality measuring approximately 1,900 (Land and Sea) square kilometers. The development plan relates to Municipality Urban Growth Nodes situated within Lamu Municipality boundary including Mokowe, Hindi, Bargoni, Majengo, Budhei along Mokowe — Budhei Corridor to the North, Mlimani and Kiangwe to the East, Manda Island and Amu Island to the South. Copies of the development plan as prepared have been deposited for public inspection free of charge between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on working days at the office of the CECM, Lands, Physical Planning, Infrastructure and Energy; County Government Physical Planning Office (Ardhi House, Mokowe); Office of the Municipal Manager, Lamu Municipality (Lamu Island); and the County Government website (www.lamu.go.ke). Any interested person who wishes to make any representation with or objection to the above local physical and land use development plan may do so in writing within sixty (60) days of publication of this notice and any such representation or objection shall state grounds on which it is made.
