THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Karilus Nondi Ongoma (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land situate in the district of Siaya, known as South Gem/Ulamba/708, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Siaya in succession cause No. 532 of 2021, has ordered that the said piece of land be registered in the name of Shadrack Otieno Magambo, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the Land Registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instrument of transmission and issue land title deed to Shadrack Otieno Magambo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Karilus Nondi Ongoma (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
