GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 9504

Take notice that on 28th July, 2022, Kereto Marima of P.O. Box 1796–00600, Nairobi, was appointed by East African Development Bank Limited to be the Receiver over the specific property, being part of the assets of the Company. All matters and dealings to do with this specific asset captured by the debenture dated 10th April, 2015, shall be dealt with by the Receiver. The powers of the Receiver shall extend to this specific asset. Take note, that by virtue of the Receivership, the powers of the directors in terms of dealing with this specific asset ceased on appointment of the Receiver. Take further notice that no one other than the Receiver is authorized to receive any monies due to the Company from this specific asset or to deal with the specific asset (including and without limitation) any receivables due to the Company from this specific asset. Anyone who holds, receives, uses, attempts to buy, or sell this specific asset of the Company or otherwise attempts to deal with the asset without the prior written approval of the Receiver is acting in contravention of the Law and will be liable to legal action. Any person who acquired an interest in this specific asset of the Company during the last sixteen (16) months or is otherwise holding or occupying or leasing this specific asset of the Company by virtue of any contract or otherwise howsoever is required to give notice of this fact to the Receiver with immediate effect. The Company, through the Receiver, will seek legal remedies against any party who fails to meet the terms of this notification. Going forward all tenants residing or occupying the premised known as No. 10 Masaba Road , Upper Hill, Nairobi, have to settle the rental obligations and arrears to the account provided by the Receiver.
