THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Chemopa Nkoliai (deceased), of P.O. Box 19–40701, Lolgorian in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 2.8 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Transmara, known as Transmara/Oloiborsoito/25, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court of Kenya at Kilgoris in succession cause No. 45 of 2021, has issued letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Mary Naanyu Francis Nenkuseyo, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier in respect of the piece of land has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of LRA. 39 and LRA. 42 and issue land title deed to Mary Naanyu Francis Nenkuseyo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Chemopa Nkoliai (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
