DECLARATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 11 (1) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019, and pursuant to the declaration of results by the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission’s County Returning Officer, Aluisia Kanini, for the election of the Governor and the Deputy Governor of the County Government of Laikipia, and the subsequent issuance of the Certificate of the Elected County Governor, form 37D, to the Governor-elect Irungu Joshua Wakahora, the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Committee notifies the public that the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor and Deputy Governor shall take place on Thursday, the 25th August, 2022, at Nanyuki Stadium within Nanyuki Town, Laikipia County, from 10.00 a.m. Dated 17th August, 2022.
