IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 11 (1) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019, and pursuant to the declaration of results by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission County Returning Officer, Paul Cheruiyot Kones, for the election of Governor and Deputy Governor of Samburu County and the subsequent issuance of the Certificate of the elected County Governor to Governor-elect, Jonathan Lati Lelelit and Deputy Governor-elect Lenengwesi Samia Gabriel, the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Committee notifies the public that the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor and Deputy Governor shall take place on Thursday, the 25th August, 2022, at Kenyatta Stadium in Maralal in Samburu County, from 10.00 a.m. Dated the 16th August, 2022.
