IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 11 (1) of the Assumption of Office of Governor Act, 2019 and pursuant to the declaration of results by the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission’s County Returning Officer, Festus Mureithi for the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of the County Government of Kajiado, and the subsequent issuance of the Certificate of the Elected County Governor on the 13th August, 2022, to the Governor-elect Joseph Jama ole Lenku and the Deputy Governor-elect Martin Moshisho Martine, the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Committee notifies the public that the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor and the Deputy Governor elect shall take place on Thursday, 25th August, 2022, at Ildamat Stadium within Kajiado Town, Kajiado County, from 10.00 a.m. Dated the 17th August 2022.
