DECLARATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 11 (1) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019, and pursuant to the declaration by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of the election of the Governor and the Deputy Governor of the County Government of Kiambu on the 14th August, 2022, the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Committee notifies the public that the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor-elect Paul Kimani Wamatangi (Dr.) and Deputy Governor-elect Rosemary Njeri Kirika shall take place on Thursday, the 25th August, 2022, at Kirigiti International Stadium in Kiambu County, from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 pm.
