IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 11 (1) of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019 and in pursuant to the declaration by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of the Governor-elect and Deputy Governor-elect of the County of Garissa, the Assumption of Office of the Governor Committee notifies the public that the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor, Nathif Jama Adan and Deputy Governor, Abdi Dagane Muhumed, shall take place on Thursday, 25th August, 2022 at Garissa Primary School Playground, Garissa Town from 10.00 a.m. Dated the 16th August, 2022.
