DECLARATION

IT IS notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to the provisions of Article 180 and Article 189 (2) of the Constitution, section 121 (1) of the County Governments Act, 2012, section 11 of the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Act, 2019 and sections 17 and 39 of the Elections Act, and the declaration by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission through the County Returning Officer, of the final results of the election of the County Governor and the Deputy Governor on the 12th August, 2022, the Assumption of the Office of the Governor Committee gives notice that the swearing in ceremony of the Governor-elect Jonathan Kimeli Bii Chelilim and the Deputy Governor-elect John Kibet Barorot, shall take place on the 25th August, 2022 between 10.00 a.m and 2.00 p.m at the Sports Club Grounds, Eldoret.
