THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Muriithi Kiora (deceased), of P.O. Box 36, Embu in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.59 hactares or thereabout, known as Gaturi/Weru/3370, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Embu in succession cause no. 318 of 2005, has ordered that the said piece of land be registered in the name of Jane Njura Muriithi, and whereas all the efforts made to recover the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land by the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue a land title deed to the said Jane Njura Muriithi, and upon such registration the title deed issued earlier to the said John Muriithi Kiora (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
