GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 11074

IT IS notified for the general information of the public that the Governor Murang’a County has appointed a Taskforce consisting of the following: Anne Thumbi Chairperson Edward Irungu Mwangi Vice-Chairperson Members: Eliud Maina Wanja Loise Nyoro Roselyn Omollo Catherine Wambui Mwaura Fredrick K. Mbugua (Dr.) Daniel Muchoki Maina Maingi Kamau Joint Secretaries Magdalene Wanjeri Kabui Duncan Kihara Jane Njuguna The terms of reference of the Taskforce are to: 1. Review all the processes relating to recruitment, selection, appointments, training, promotions, redesignations, employee benefits and payroll administration and identify any gaps/non-compliance/short comings in the past years. 2. To link all the employees in both the IPPD and the manual payroll with rightful recruitment and placement. 3. Account for every staff benefiting from the personnel emoluments of the County Government of Murangá. 4. Determine whether there has been recruitments/hiring/processing of salaries that has not been properly authorized and recorded. 5. Compile report with recommendations of actions that the County should undertake to enhance compliance with the employment related laws. Timeline of the Assignment The assignment should take twenty (20) days commencing the 19th September, 2022. In the case the assignment exceeds this duration, authority for extension shall be sought from the Governor. The Secretariat of the taskforce is at the County Government Offices, Murang’a Town, P.O.
