THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Charles Mwea Kanake (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.405, hectare or thereabouts, known as Mwerua/Baricho/816, situate in the district of Kirinyaga, and whereas the senior resident magistrate’s court at Baricho in succession cause No. E8 of 2021, has issued grant and confirmation letters to (1) Julius Mwangi (ID/6036615) and (2) Nancy Kanini Muriuki (ID/10865462), and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds and proceed with the registration of the said administration letters to (1) Julius Mwangi (ID/6036615) and (2) Nancy Kanini Muriuki (ID/10865462), and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Charles Mwea Kanake (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
