THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ishan M’Ariithi Ishan Muriungi Arithi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Abogeta/L- Kithangari/956, situate in the district of Meru, and whereas the High Court of Kenya in succession cause No. 60 of 2019, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Doreen Kinya Muriungi and (2) Winfred Muthoni Muriungi, and whereas the said court has executed land application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R. L. 19, and whereas land title deed issued in respect Ishan M’Ariithi Ishan Muriungi Arithi (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R. L. 19 in the name of (1) Doreen Kinya Muriungi and (2) Winfred Muthoni Muriungi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ishan M’Ariithi Ishan Muriungi Arithi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
