THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Esther Vuthya Maithya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.1 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Kitui, known as Kyangwithya/Kaveta/155, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 90 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration to Titus Mwangangi Maithya, and whereas the laud title deed issued earlier to the said Esther Vuthya Maithya (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of instruments of R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 and issue a land title deed to the said Titus Mwangangi Maithya, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Esther Vuthya Maithya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
