APPOINTMENT

IT IS notified for general information that, pursuant to the Standing Orders 24 and 25 of the Mombasa County Assembly Standing Orders, the County Assembly of Mombasa on Wednesday, 15th November, 2022 approved the Calendar of the Assembly (Regular Sessions) for the First Session (2022) as set out in the Schedule below: SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT PURSUANT to Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya that establishes County Assembly for each County Government as read together with section 12 (3) (d) of the County Governments Act and sections 8 and 9 of the County Assembly Services Act and First Schedule thereto, the County Assembly of Kisii approved and appointed— Samson Otoigo Ontori Gesuka, Jane Queen Omwenga (Dr.), to be Members of the Kisii County Assembly Service Board, with effect from the 24th November, 2022. The tenure and the grounds for removal and or vacation of office and the responsibilities are as set out in sections 12 (5), (6) and (7) of the County Governments Act and sections (10) and (11) of the County Assembly Services Act for the remaining term of the current County Assembly.
