THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Carolyn Wanjiru Kimani (deceased), of P.O. Box 8, Kenol in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.158 hectare or thereabouts, known as Makuyu/Makuyu/Block 1/3382, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Murang’a in succession Cause No. 241 of 2018, has issued grant and confirmation letters to Francis Kimani Mungai, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said Francis Kimani Mungai, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Carolyn Wanjiru Kimani (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
