THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Mutugu Gitau alias Peter Mutungu Gitau (deceased), of P.O. Box 60, Kanjuku in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.21 hectares or thereabout, known as Chania/Kanyoni/1633, situate in the district of Gatundu, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court of Kenya at Gatundu in succession Cause No. E077 of 2022, has issued grant and confirmation letters to Lucy Mugure Mutugu, of P.O. Box 60, Kanjuku in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said administration letters to Lucy Mugure Mutugu (ID/6241452), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Mutugu Gitau alias Peter Mutungu Gitau (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
