THE CO-OPERATIVES SOCIETIES ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS members of Kivuko Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited (CS/6624) have resolved that their sacco society should be dissolved. And whereas I am of the opinion that Kivuko Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited (CS/6624) should be dissolved pursuant to section 62 (1) (c) of the Co-operative Societies Act, Now therefore, I cancel the registration of Kivuko Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited (CS/6624) and order that the said Society be liquidated with immediate effect. Further to this, any member of the society may within thirty (30) days of this order, appeal to the Cabinet Secretary for Co-operative and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development against the cancellation order. And pursuant to section 65 of the said Act, I appoint James Mkali Mwasi Assistant Director for Co-operative Development (Kilifi County), to be the liquidator for a period not exceeding one (1) year. I authorize him to take unto his custody all the properties of the said society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for the completion of the liquidation exercise.
