THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kipkemei arap Birech (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Nandi/Surungai/177, situate in the district of Nandi, and whereas the Kapsabet magistrate’s court in succession cause No. 23 of 2014, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Hellen Chepkemboi, and whereas the land title deed issued to the said Kipkemei arap Birech (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and issue land title deed in the name of Hellen Chepkemboi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kipkemei arap Birech (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
