THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ibrahim Maina Hika (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Marmanet/North/Rumuruti Block 2/2473 (Ndurumo), situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas the chief magistrate’s court at Nyahururu in succession cause No. E141 of 2022, has issued grant in favour of David Kinuthia Hika, and whereas the said David Kinuthia Hika has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19, and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the name of David Kinuthia Hika, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to Ibrahim Maina Hika (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
