THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Harrison Anyoso Akhuyo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.8 hectares or thereabout, known as East Bunyore/Ebunangwe/369, situate in the district of Emuhaya, and whereas the senior principal magistrate’s court at Vihiga in succession cause No. 116 of 2019, has issued letters of administration in of Elizabeth Afwande Katembu, and whereas the said Elizabeth Afwande Katembu has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Elizabeth Afwande Katembu, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Harrison Anyoso Akhuyo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
