THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mohamed Bin Abdulrehman Basheikh, as trustee of the WAKF, is registered as proprietor of 8/10 share of that piece of land containing 0.1115 acre or thereabouts, situate in the district of Mombasa, known as Mombasa/Block XXI/293, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Mombasa has issued grant of letters of administration to Abdurahman Mohamed Basheikh, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to the deceased has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mohamed Bin Abdulrehman Basheikh, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
