THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Macharia Kaburu (deceased), of P.O. Box 48993, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.13 acre or thereabouts, known as Loc. 14/Kiruri/T. 41, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in succession cause No. 3423 of 2005, has issued grant and confirmation letters to (1) Jane Nyambura Macharia, (2) Jane Yula Macharia and (3) Henry Gachini, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said (1) Jane Nyambura Macharia, (2) Jane Yula Macharia and (3) Henry Gachini, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said James Macharia Kaburu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
