THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Betty Kadesa Kiganane (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.045 hectare or thereabouts, known as Maragoli/Bugonda/3421, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in succession cause No. 231 of 2021 has issued letters of administration in favour of Solomon Samadi Chunguli, and whereas the said Solomon Samadi Chunguli has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the production of the said title deed and proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Solomon Samadi Chunguli, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Betty Kadesa Kiganane (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
