THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Theuri Mwangi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Nyeri/Watuka/1571, containing 1.62 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nyeri in succession cause No. 869 of 2014, has issued grant in favour of Nelius Muthoni Mwangi, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said John Theuri Mwangi (deceased) is missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 in the name of Nelius Muthoni Mwangi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said John Theuri Mwangi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
