NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga that pursuant to Standing Order 26 of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga Standing Orders, on the request of the leader of majority party, I have appointed Wednesday, 28th June, 2023, for special sittings of the County Assembly. (a) 9.00 a.m. first special sitting for tabling of Public Participation Report and county budget and appropriation committee report on the scrutiny of the 2023/2024 FY County Budget Estimates and issuing notice of Motion. (b) 10.30 a.m. second special sitting for adoption of County budget and appropriation committee report on the scrutiny of the 2023/2024FY County Budget Estimates and first reading of the Kirinyaga Appropriation Bill, 2023. (c) 12.00 p.m. third special sitting for the second reading of the Kirinyaga County Appropriation Bill, 2023 and committee stage. (d) 1.30 p.m. fourth special sitting for the third reading of the Kirinyaga County Appropriation Bill, 2023 The special sittings shall be held in the County Assembly Chambers, Kerugoya. In accordance with Standing Order 26 (3) of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sittings.
