THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Helmut Burkmayer and (2) Florence Awinja Burkmayer, both of P.O. Box 87502, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors in freehold interest ownership interest of all that piece of land containing 0.0465 hectare or thereabouts, known as subdivision No. 1881/II/MN, situate in Mombasa Municipality in the Mombasa District, registered as C.R. 21646/1, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the deed file register in respect of the title has been lost or destroyed, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file register as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act.
